The Member of Parliament for Antwima Nwabiagya South in the Ashanti Region, Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere, received cold reception in his area after angry youths chased him out with machete over poor roads in the area.
The youths staged this act to express their displeasure with the MP because he has failed to deliver what is expected of him.
According to residents, roads are in poor state especially the Wiawso-Antoakrom road which is full of potholes.
The MP has responded to this news by saying that though they was agitation by his constituents on poor roads in the area, the reports that he was chased out have been exaggerated.
While speaking on Nhyira FM, he said;
In a process of moving from the Kobeng community because of the rains, the man from nowhere brought the machete to pour out his grievances, but I was not attacked.
