Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu has been found dead after going missing for days since Turkey earthquake.
Atsu, a former Chelsea and Newcastle United forward, played for Hatayspor before his tragic death.
He was one of the star players from Chelsea academy and later started to play for Turkey.
Atsu, 31, was residing in an apartment in Hatay city, which is one of the most affected areas in Turkey during the quake.
Since the quake, his club Hatayspor kept giving different reports, whereby initially they reported he was rescued with injuries.
Later the club reported the footballer has not yet been found.
The news of Atsu was confirmed earlier today by his agent in Turkey, Murat Uzunmehmet, through social media. .
