Chinese man to appear in court for slashing Ghanaian co-worker’s throat

Chinese man to be arraigned in court today, September 30, 2022, for allegedly slashing the throat of a Ghanaian co-worker .

The incident happened at a construction site at Kweikuma, a suburb of Takoradi in the Western Region on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

The Ghana Police Service have identified the suspect as Xue Hue.

The police statement;

The suspect is in custody assisting investigation and will be put before court on September 30, 2022, to face justice.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect, Xue Hue, on September 28, 2022, allegedly attacked the victim, who is a mason with a construction company at Kweikuma, with a knife inflicting a cut on his neck.

The victim has since been treated and discharged.
