Nazareth Baptist Church, located at Ebuhleni, northern part of Durban in South Africa, have carried out virginity test on their female church members who are 18 years and above. The church’s decision to conduct the free virginity test is mainly to encourage chastity among the ladies not only in this church, but also society at large.
Report show that virginity test is an annual carried out in this church and the successful participants are awarded Certificate of Virginity at the end of the exercise. A mark is also applied on their face to show their virginity is still intact.
Since this virginity test in conducted in the middle of every year, the issued certificate becomes invalid by the middle of the following year and one must undergo through another test.
Nazareth Baptist Church conducted virginity test for 2022/2023 session on July 4, 2022, and as usual, certificates, signed by the church leader and virginity test specialist, were issued to successful ladies.
