Few hours ago a Kenyan nurse based in Canada, identified as Hellen Wendy has lost her life while swimming.
Hellen was live on her Facebook account (Hellen Wendy) while swimming in a pool and interacting with her fb friends when the unfortunate incident happened.
She kept holding her face beneath the water for seconds, swim, then come back to read comments on the live.
The first 10 minutes of the Facebook live, Hellen seemed to enjoy the pool but at 11 minutes it seem she found herself in the deep end.
At 10:33 minutes, Hellen started screaming and kicking in a futile effort to swim away from the danger zone.
Unfortunately, it seems no one was around to help Hellen and few seconds to 12 minutes she went silent according to what is seen on the fb live.
The Facebook live went for 3 hours until a man, who seemed to have come to swim appeared at 3:09:00 hour mark.
At first, this man didn’t notice Hellen’s body until another person came and asked what’s in the pool.
The first man responded;
I thought it’s a poodle or something.
The other one asked;
What if it’s actually someone dead?
They both went to the other side of the pool and confirmed that it was actually a human body floating on the pool.
They rushed to call the caretaker of the facility.
