Eugene Quaynor, a Ghanaian footballer dies in fatal car crash in US

Ghanaian footballer, based in the United States, Eugene Quaynor has lost his life after being involved in a car accident.

He was the captain of Oral Roberts University men’s soccer team.

Oklahoma Police statement shows that the 23-year-old Quaynor was at a stop light when a drunk driver in a SUV rammed into his car from behind.

The crash forced Quaynor’s car to veer through the intersection and hit a wall, then caught fire.

According to police, the witnesses tried to pull Quaynor out of the car but the attempts failed.

The deceased was on the books of the Phoenix Academy in Ghana, before moving to America, where he joined the Flint City Bucks in Flint Michigan.

Eugene was a much-loved member of the Bucks teams as well as the Flint community.

In addition to being a true warrior on the pitch, he was always eager to do community service work, free youth clinics and charity events.
