President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo has responded to more than eighty (80) New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament calling for the sack of the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.
Nana Addo had a meeting with the MPs where he pleaded with them to allow Ken Ofori-Atta to conclude negotiation with the IMF deal, which is near to completion.
According to the President, terminating the appointment of Ken Ofori-Atta will disrupt IMF programme and this will not be good.
The President has asked Ken Ofori-Atta to be given three more weeks to complete the IMF negotiations, then decision will be made later.
