Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has declared his interest in seeking re-election as GFA President in the upcoming GFA Elections.
Mr. Kurti announced this during 29th GFA Ordinary Congress and the audience promised him their support.
The GFA elections, which are scheduled for October, are expected to be very competitive because former GFA Vice President George Afriyie and Kojo Yankah have also declared their intention to be in this race for presidency.
George Afriyie lost to Kurt in the 2019 elections and he is back to challenge Kurt, hence it’s going to be a tough race.
Kurt highlighted some of his achievements over the past three and half years as GFA President and this includes Ghana’s victory in the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2021, national team’s qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and many others.
