A mobile money vendor identified as Mr. Calvin Nii Kpakpo Allotey has been robbed and shot at Bigman Town, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu East municipality.
He was attacked and shot in the right arm by the armed robbers at his shop on Tuesday.
The robbers made away with an undisclosed amount of money while the victim was rushed to Winneba Trauma and Specialists Hospital.
According to CCTV footage, there were three robbers, one of them shooting indiscriminately.
The area residents said they heard gunshots and later saw the victim being rushed to the hospital on a motorbike.
The residents also added that such incidents are becoming rampant, hence appealing to the police to intensity patrols in this area.
Police are currently investigating the incident.
