A 46 year old man named Tyrone Prades, has been farting since 2017 after eating a ham roll.
Prades is now suing the stall where he bought the ham roll for Ghana cedis 1.9 million because of the discomfort and embarrassment he has experienced by polluting the environment through farts.
According to Prades’ lawyer, he experienced stomach cramps, vomiting, fever, and diarrhoea immediately after eating the ham roll in 2017. He was bed ridden for five weeks and since then he has been farting all the time.
Prades bought the ham roll at a Christmas market in Birmingham that he visited with his family.
Sharing lawyer’s statement;
The claimant continues to suffer from excessive flatulence, which causes him a great deal of embarrassment. The claimant’s stomach continues to make frequent churning noises to the extent his sleep can become disrupted.
According to Daily Mail, Prades’ case hinges on whether he was suffering from salmonella, but it is found that other customers fell ill as well.
Prades’ lawyer has confirmed that the stall was closed and deep cleaned as a result of Public Health England intervention.
