Nana Agradaa granted GHS50,000 bail

An Accra Circuit Court has granted Evangelist Patricia Asiedua Oduro, who is popularly known as Nana Agradaa a bail of GHS50,000.

Presiding judge Samuel Bright Acquah granted Nana Agradaa GHS 50,000 with 3 sureties of Civil Servants earning not less than 2k a month.

Also, Agradaa is expected to report to Prosecutor every Wednesday .

Report says despite Nana Agradaa new bail, she still will be in Police Custody due to another case with similar charges levelled against her at Circuit Court 10.

The priestess faced the law after allegations of money doubling scam levelled against her by some of her followers where the victims lost their money.

The victims said they visited Nana Agradaa’s church after she advertised on her TV program that she will be performing miracles of doubling money during her service.

Police issued a statement concerning this issue by saying;

Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action to assist the investigation.

The investigation was initiated following reports that have come to the attention of the Police on the matter.

We would like to urge anyone with information that can assist the investigation to report to the Accra Regional Police Command at Accra Central close to the COCOBON building.
