Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel also known as Agbogidi were reported missing after their family members confirmed they didn’t return home from movie set on Thursday, July 28.
Reports show the two actors were kidnapped while they were returning from a movie set at Ozalla town in Enugu State, Nigeria.
The kidnappers have reached to the actors’ respective families and are now demanding $100,000 ransom.
President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has made a statement saying the abductors of the actors have contacted their families and are demanding lump sum in dollars.
Mr Rollas said the guild is working with the security agents while still hoping for God’s intervention to rescue the two actors unhurt.
He also said that the kidnappers have cleared out the account of actress Cynthia Okereke. They cleared it immediately after the abduction.
