A young lady pleaded that her parents should be not informed about the incident where her 55-year old lover she met online died in a hotel room while they were having some good time.
The sad incident happened on Monday August 14, in Nigeria.
The lady and her deceased lover, who has been identified as Abdulwaheed Lamidi met online and been talking for a while before finally meeting physically.
On Saturday the lady travelled from another state to meet her lover in Lagos, where they got a hotel room to spend some time together before the unfortunate occurred.
Lagos Police Public Relations confirmed the incident and stated that the lady is the main suspect.
The lady has pleaded that her parents should not be informed about the incident.
According to the girl, the man went to use the rest and that’s when he slumped and died.
The girl’s family has however been contacted as police starts investigations.
Sharing an eyewitness statement;
The girl said the man wanted to enter the toilet but slumped and fell on the ground. A doctor that works in a hospital close to the motel was called and when the doctor got to the room, he certified the man dead.
The girl said she came to Lagos to meet the man as he promised to marry her, she came with some property and had the intention of moving into his house to be his live-in lover. Instead of going to the man’s house, they went to the hotel and they were in the room when the girl ran out to call for help because the man slumped.
So when people rushed into the room, they found him lying unconscious on the ground. The incident happened around 8:40 am on Sunday, but the girl arrived from another state on Saturday. The girl said she met the man online and that they been chatting.
