It was not business as usual for His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo at Global Citizen Festival yesterday on Saturday, September 24, 2022, as he received cold treatment while giving speech.
Global Citizen Festival took place in Accra, Ghana and its main aim was to bring together artiste and leaders from different parts of the world to boost a policy that focuses on girls and women empowerment, defending the planet and creating change.
Among the artists who were present include stars like Usher Raymond IV, Sarkodie, Gyakie, Stonebwoy, Tiwa Savage, Tems, Oxalade, and many others.
Nana Addo also attended the event but was welcomed with boos when he was about to give his speech.
People expressed their displeasure in the current economic crisis in the country.
The President however continued with his speech and immediately he concluded the DJ put the audience back in a celebratory mood by playing Black Sherrif’s Kwaku the Traveller.
