Renowned South African rapper Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA, has been shot and killed in Durban, South Africa where he had flown to celebrate his birthday.
The rapper was 35 years old.
According to KwaZulu-Natal police, AKA, his bodyguard, and his former manager were leaving a restaurant on Florida Road when the gunmen opened fire on them.
AKA and his former managed died on the spot while the bodyguard was left wounded.
The rapper was to perform at YuGo nightclub in Durban few hours before his death.
His death has left many people across the world devastated and he will forever be remembered and celebrated through many hits he released like Run Jozi, Compusure, Fela in Versace and many more.
The two murder dockets are being investigated.
