Sadly, according to the information we have received, the eight members of the crew died in the crash.
According to Minister Nebojsa, the Antonov An-12 took off from Nis airport in southern Serbia at around 8: 40 pm (GMT) on Saturday. It was carrying around 11 tonnes of military industry goods, namely mines from Valir, which is a private Serbian company.

The preliminary cause of the accident is the failure of one of the engines.
Footage from local channels show that the aircraft pieces scattered in a large area.
State-run TV has reported that explosive experts and Greek Atomic Energy Commission will only access the scene of this accident after it is deemed safe. Fears of the toxicity has forced the explosive experts to stay away for now.
