Religious services like Bible reading marathon, worship, and many other related programs have been scheduled to be held at the National Cathedral project site as a way to celebrate Christmas, end of this year and the usher in year new.

The schedule is as follows;

The Bible reading will be held from Wednesday, December 28 to Friday, December 30, 2022.

The readings will start at 6:00 am each day and end at 6:00 pm.

The worship and thanksgiving service, dubbed Sacred Worship will be held on Monday, January 2, 2022, from 9:00 am to midday.

For the better part of this year, National Cathedral has faced controversy across the country and President Nana Akufo-Addo has not spared the critics.

Akufo-Addo has called off the critic of the National Cathedral and likened them to Sanballat and Tobias in the book of Nehemiah in the Bible who were against the building of Jerusalem wall.

While the President is fully committed to this project, majority of Ghanaians have said this is a misplaced priority considering the economic hardship currently experienced in the country.
