The business mogul who is the Chief Executive Officer of the McDan Group of Companies asserted that a wife’s money is hers alone and men should not ask them to pay any bill. Instead, he believes a man should be man in a relationship and cater for every responsibility.
While speaking at an event on Father’s Day on Sunday, June 19, McDan stated;
Your wife’s salary is her salary. Don’t come home and fight your wife because she can afford to pay the fees. Even if she is paying the fees, try to take over. You are the man. Been seen to very responsible.
I’m very particular about that because a lot of fathers lately are marrying they want women to pay their bills.
Don’t be a man that a woman pays your bills.
As expected, the entrepreneur’s statement has received mixed reactions from the public, especially netizens, whereby some are in support while others strongly disagree. Living in such harsh economic times, many couples may opt to share bills, but well, McDan doesn’t think it’s a good idea.
