NPP Elections; List of winners, John Boadu loses General Secretary Seat

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, is among the executives who have lost in the concluded NPP elections. John Boadu has lost his position as General Secretary of the party to the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Justin Frimpong Kodua.

Justin Kodua won with 2837 votes while John Boadu got 2524 at the NPP’s National Delegates Conference held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Following John Boadu in votes for this position include Former Mayor of Tamale Metropolitan Assembly Iddrisu Musah with 104 votes, Frederick Opare Ansah with 50 votes, and Ramseyer A. Agyeman-Prempeh with 8 votes.

John Boadu was appointed as acting General Secretary in 2015 and later elected as a substantive scribe for the party, and he has served since then.

  7. Kate Gyamfua- National Women Organiser
  8. National Nasara Coordinator- Abdul Aziz Haruna Futah
  9. National Youth Organiser- Salam Mohammed Mustafa
  10. Treasure – Dr Charles Dwamena
